Tampa, Florida Is One of the Most Searched Real Estate Markets in 2010

Tampa, Florida has long been a destination city, and that did not change in 2010. According to the National Association of Realtors® (NAR) recent article, Top 10 Most Searched Markets at Realtor.com, Realtor.com found that Tampa along with Orlando and Miami are among the top 10 cities being visited by online viewers. This is an important measure as “Online search is a critical measure of interest in real estate, especially now that more than 90 percent of buyers search for their homes online,” said Realtor.com’s President Errol Samuelson. Errol added, “Changing conditions throughout 2010 in the sunshine sates resulting from foreclosures, the tax credit, interest rates and other factors created more interest in real estate compared to other states that we hope leads to increased activity and sales in 2011.”

For those of us who live in Tampa, Florida this comes as no surprise. Of course Tampa will be one of the top business and leisure destination cities in the world.
